I either use the little plastic case the blades come in to accumulate them or if they just come in papr boxes I wrap the blades in the wrapper from the new blades and throw them away. In most parts of the country Sanitation trucks have automated systems and no person ever touches a garbage receptacle.

Besides, they're over paid Govt workers with too many fringe benefits right?

I saw a thread somewhere where someone bought the cheapest can of vegetable broth he could find and punched a slot in the top with a knife, washed it and let it dry and used that. He even painted it and printed off some labels. It looked really good.

Thank you all. I just found that the back of the blade case (Feather) has a specific room
    for used blades. Pretty good.
