Thanked: 1Shick SE Safety Razor Injector Blades
My dad has an old shick SE safety razor for which he can't find any replacement blades. It needs the injector blades. He can't find blades now days and has succumbed to using the 5 blade razors of today and a single blade disposable razor behind it. Can any one guide me to where I can find SE blades with the injector? I've searched the forums and haven't had much luck finding any info.

CVS Pharmacy has a house brand injector blade that is pretty good. I have had decent luck finding Schick blades on eBay, although I haven't bought any recently. Many injector fans prefer the blades from tedpella.com to the factory Schicks.
If you don't mind a little project, you can trim off some of the length of a Feather Artist Club blade and get a great shave. I used to do this, but found it to be too much trouble. Do a search for "featherjector" if you're curious.

hsudandy,
+1 on the 'Ted Pella' blades
I think these are Personna blades; for me, they shave superbly in my Schick E2, G6 & M2 razors
You can get the same blades in the USA from Ted Pella (Code 121-4)
Dissection Tools, Scissors, Blades, Forceps, Scalpels, Spatulas
and EMS (code 71990 or 71991)
Razor Blades, Scapels, and Saws
If you don't mind ordering from the UK, you can get them from Connaught Shaving (I get mine from there)
Personna Stainless Coated Injector Razor Blades
Good luck !
Have fun !
Best regards
Russ

you can get schick brand injector blades from amazon.com and I have had good results from them...I get the pack of 4 7count packs/injectors since it helps get to the magic $25 free shipping mark. they also have the 20 count personna blades everyone keeps talking about and a generic 20 count injector that I know nothing about.

Thanked: 67The Schick brand blades (made in China) are noticeably smoother than the CVS ones (though those are good too). Try and get some of those, if you can.

Thanked: 2516Amazon.com has Injector blades that fit your Schick and their shipping is reasonable as mentioned above. Occasionally, you can find them in CVS drug stores or Walgreens Drugs, etc. It's getting harder to find them locally though.

Thanked: 275I've recently looked in several CVS stores in the Philadelphia and Washington DC area -- no injector blades.
However, the online (Amazon) market is still alive:

And Ted Pella is still listing injector blades.

PS -- this is what happens when I buy a Shick injector razor, on a whim, from eBay, find that it shaves nicely, and then wonder:
. . . How am I going to keep this thing supplied with blades?Last edited by cpcohen1945; 12-20-2011 at 03:14 AM.
