Is there a section of the Wiki devoted to Safety Razors?
Something that has similar info to the straight razor section like what to look for in a good razor, brands to avoid, what to steer clear of when buying vintage razors.

There is currently not such a section in our wiki

With so many people using both kinds of razors it seems like it would be helpful to have one.

Other forums focus on DE and other safety razors.
You might give a look on Badger and Blade.
Their WiKi has a Safety Razor data base that should be looked at.
With old safety razors look for clean and tight mechanics. A great
razor that was used to hammer nails may not shave very well.Last edited by niftyshaving; 04-26-2011 at 02:23 AM. Reason: speller

Thanked: 275The guys at Badger and Blade have the same degree of obsession about DE blades and razors that the SRP guys have about straight razors.
Ask, and ye shall be answered . . .
