    Default Merkur Vision

Anyone use one of these big boys regularly? I broke down, bit the bullet and, finally ordered one from West Coast. I hope it will be as well balanced as the Futur. Your thoughts are appreciated.

    Yessir.
I shave my head daily, and use, amongst others, the Merkur Vision.
In fact it is my favorite DE.
Mind you, I only have 3 now. A fatboy, a Feather stainless and the Vision.
It is big, very adjustable and has great balance. To me that is

I had a vision. It was my first DE and I hated it. I thought it was too big and clumsy and I at this point my Fatboy and Feather and EJ Chatsworth clearly outshave it. One day I tried to clean it by soaking it in bleach. That was a big mistake. It went into the trash after that expensive experiment.

I have one, although it's been years since I last used it. I liked it well enough, although it is on the chunky side. As I recall, the balance is good so it's really just a question of dealing with its heft.

Thanks to all who have replied. I usually dislike the bigger hefty razors, fat boy's, ej's, merkur hD, and Ikon's. But I've found that the Merkur futur is so well balanced and feels so natural in my hand, it's nimble and it's heft does not distract from it. I hope the vision shares it same attributes.
