Thanked: 4i have a speed king ,a fatboy ,and a mid 30s segal and if your pressed for time they give great shaves imho.im a hard core straight man and theres somthing to be said about the zen from honing your straights to me thats half the fun .jmo

Thanked: 67Actually, that's a Gillette old-type head. The set is the 'Standard', but the razor is a single-ring.
Lovely, smooth shavers. I have a bunch of old-type models, and I really like them.
This was followed by the 'New Improved' heads (models had many names - one of which was the New Standard), and then by the NEW. Note that the New Standard would have had a completely different head from this one.
