Thanked: 1I have both a Hoffritz slant and just picked up a Gillette ball tech open comb. Both give great shaves, but I would give the edge in comfort to the Gillette. I also have a Gem Micromatic Clog Pruf SE that does a phenomonal job. I would suggest succumbing to razor aquisition disorder (RAD), you can never have too many

Thanked: 0The Feather DE safety razor is so smooth people mistake it's smoothness for mildness. it does take a slightly different angle but I can easily mow down a weeks worth of growth with it. If you were to apply pressure with the Feather you would easily cut yourself. That being said you may want to try an adjustable razor which will give you the ability to adjust the blade gap.
