Default Can you use DE blades in an SE razor?

I was looking into buying an old WW1 SE razor and was wondering if you can use DE blades in them?
If you can can you flip them over to utilize the other edge?
    Thanks in advance!

No. I think they told me that even if you came up with some kind of spacer for the top, they are too thin! Dangerous even! You can get Gem platinum blades for the SE's and they are great!

    I rest my case.

Yeah, SE razors are better than DEs anyway, why would you want to use an inferior blade? Hahahaha *ducks for cover*

Seriously though, the Gems are good blades. I used Ted Pella PTFE coated stainless blades in mine and LOVED them!
