New addition to the collection
Latest acquisition....1940's, probably late 40's due to the plastic box, SuperSpeed. Looking forward to trying this one out. It came with a couple of boxes of Shark blades.

These are really nice razors, I've used one for several shaves. They are relatively mild, but, very comfortable! Looks like you got one in excellent shape!

I've always had my best DE results with Shark Chrome blades, but that's just me.

The easiest way to tell date a SuperSpeed is to look on the bottom of the head of the razor. If there is a date code, there would be a letter on one side and a number on the other. For example, I have a SuperSpeed similar to the one pictured and there is a Z4 on the bottom which means it was made in the 4 quarter of 1954. Go here for more information.

Thanked: 1195Nice find! Though I would recommend trying some different blades, I find Sharks to be down there with Merkurs.

Hi, That's a great little purchase. I like the Shark blades too. However, I don't use them as much as I use feather and Astra blades. In my opinion Shark blades are great blades to test out a new razor and find it's angles.
