Thread: Not one but two fatboys

Walked into the office of one of the engineers at work today and sitting on his desk was a dirty but still in very good shape fatboy. I asked him what he was doing with that at work and he said that he found it and another just like it in his attic. This led to a talk about straights and safety razors and my love of them. I told him that if he cleaned them up he could sell them for a good price on the bay, I even offered to do the clean and polish for him. He then walked out to his truck and came back with the other one and said that he wanted me to have them. I refused and then showed him what they are going for, he would have none of that and told me to take them because he didn't want them or the bother to sell them. So now after much discussion of me saying that I couldn't possibly take them I have not one but two fatboys. After I clean them up and shave with them a couple of times I will try and see if he will take them back, but knowing Jack I doubt it.

Now that's incredibly nice of him. While he might not take them back, get him something else you know he'll appreciate.

Offer him a super-deluxe shave at his town's barber (like with full treatment and hot towels...)...
Then re-offer to give him back the razors...
Maybe he'll change his mind

Or, just wait for him to go to work.... Call in sick, and crawl up in his attic to see what other razors you can find? Mu, ah, ah, ah!

He did seem to think he has some more up there including a straight or two
