Thread: ROTBART N° 15 safety razor Duo Tone (by Doryferon)

As it is from the box,the handle is like Merkur.



My intention is to change the insert,i want a knob from "shining" bronze
The original one is in bad condition

To tough to pull it out.





My order was to create a new one but with a trick
Inside there is a sulfation,inside i put an O-ring
The insert does not falling free,the O-ring stops it.

You can see it clearly.



Epoxy glue for metals,i keep it that way all night long.

I call it "Duo Tone" although i did not touched the head
The factory chrome was in perfect condition
I did not shine the handle,i wanted to look like the original

Here we are my fellow shavers,the (Doryferon's) Rotbart N° 15 is ready for use!

Nice job but the important thing is how does it shave?

It beats R41-11C,it shaves like Gillette New Type
I didn't expect it,i thought that it will be like my Henso but it is much better
This DE was a wonderful surprise for me !

Beats the R-41 eh? Those are some mighty big claims. If it shaves that good you're in straight razor territory.

Oh I forgotten to say: the 2009 model.
I also have the 2011 that is one click better than the Rotbart
I have 2 shavettes but none straight razor,it is not my intention to work with this.
