Looks like it'll be a good shaver, and it has a travel case, to boot. You see a lot more people talking about $5.00 deals on-line, because people like to post their amazing finds, whereas they don't always post their not-so-amazing finds. For example, I hit local antique shops every few months, and while, when I found an $8.00 fatboy that I bought and posted all about that, I didn't post about the $10.00 that I paid for a dinged up (but still great shaving) 1940s superspeed. The Superspeed wasn't an awful deal, it just wasn't anything to write home about, whereas the Fatboy was an amazing deal.

Looks like a great buy to me. Hope you enjoy shaving with it. After nearly two years of shaving with straights and DE's my skin has toughened up and I find these old razors are pretty gentle on the face.
