    Nice Obie! Probably a bit agressive for me as my standard is a late 40's aristocrat and a new futur that I am still using on 2.

    Thanks, Robert. Yes, the Joris is aggressive. That's why it's not for everyone. I think the shave is easier for those accustomed to straight razors.

    I love the Aristocrat. What a beautiful razor. I would even call it a perfect razor — in every respect. I have two 1948 models and they are sweet and lovely. I am saving both for my grandsons. Also two Fatboys for them. I use the Aristocrat and the Fatboy regularly and can't say enough good things about them. Fabulous American workmanship, indeed.
