    Default Flea Market find

I picked up this at the flea market last weekend for $10. It was in such good condition I didn't even try to get a discount, just pulled out the 10 and handed it over. The date indicates it was manufactured the 1st Q of 1959 (E 1 date code). I disassembled it just to clean out all the nooks and crannies and tried it out today. Most excellent shave!

Surprised to read that you disassembled it - I heard they were a b*tch to put back together correctly. Enjoy!

Getting it back together was easy but it did take some time to get it apart. The good news was there wasn't any gunk or soap or crud inside the handle so it came apart without any problems. Being an earlier model the bottom had the screw on cap instead of the press on cap .
