Can someone help me ID this DE?
I've been meaning to try a DE for a while, so when I saw this little DE at a local Flea Market for $10, I couldn't resist picking it up.
It doesn't have any maker's marking that I can see. However, the one piece of the head has the number PC 26891.
I've also polished it up considerably. When I got it, it had a good layer of 'patina' and crud on it. But underneath all that, it was actually real nice shape.
Can anyone help me ID the make / model of this old girl? So far, it's given me two of the smoothest shaves of my life - I'm hooked! I am able to get a part of my neck above my Adam's apple that I was never able to get with one of my straights to save my life...

Ok, feeling a little stress.
According to RENALDO.US - Gillette Razor and Blade Dating and Feature Information, if 26891 is a gillette serial number, that would date this razor to 1904, the second year of manufacture. Maybe not my best move to polish the heck out of it for use...
Also, apparently the lack of a logo or 'Made in' text is not uncommon on early gillettes:

Alright, so this is a Canadian made razor, out of the Montreal Gillette factory. Not sure about hte serial numbers anymore, but the factory opened in 1906. I suspect it's still early though.
