Thanked: 10Anyone know of a source for Stainless DE heads only?
Hi guys,
I know, IKON and Tradere sell just the handles, I was curious is there was a company or supplier that sold just a SS head?
I'm getting a bit frustrated with the lousy chrome on some of the new brands.
Thanks,
Ryan

Does TGN still sell heads? You might check them out.

Thanked: 10Thanks, I will!
I've actually been contemplating designing a head of my own. I'm a mechanical designer, and have some tool makers with some excellent skill that are local to me. If I do, I'll share the experience....maybe even a few samples.

Thanked: 1195I suppose you could contact a mfg of your choosing and see if they can help you out. This may or may not work as many mfg's only deal with vendors, but it's worth a shot.

Just throwing this out there, but you could also go with a quality replating job on one of your existing heads. Your toolmaker friends might know of a reputable chrome shop that's local.

Thanked: 375I know this isn't very helpful, but I've been looking for someone who sells the Heads too. I know TGN does but they're chrome, as you said a stainless steel head would be nice. I've been looking at Weber Razor for the last month or two (waiting for there to be stock to make a ARC razor purchase) and noticed they had an SS razor head listed separate all the sudden, maybe a couple of weeks and then it was gone. They were out of stock anyway and I don't know if they were ever really available.

Weber SS heads sell out fairly quick. They only show up every few weeks, and apparently he makes fairly small batches.

Have you checked out the Feather all stainless model? Or tried to get a replacement head from them?

Thanked: 10Hi guys, sorry for the late reply. I may try feather , ikon etc.. to see if they can supply a head only. I'm actually starting to really dig this Parker head.
