Thread: Best shave of my life!

Wow! I have been shaving with my Merkur long handle for about a week or so now.

After a few shaves to get used to the new equipment I am now very comfortable with the new equipment.

I was struggling with using my left hand to shave the other half of my face Tonight was a different story! I installed a new blade, and something just "clicked". I had no problems, and I was rewarded with the best shave of my life!

Thanks to everyone on here for your posts! I have been doing plenty I reading in order to understand the little details of this whole process.

Glad you're enjoying your Merkur. DE's are in my rotation for a good reason - they work well (and I'm not ashamed to admit it)

I'm glad to hear that your shave went well. It should keep getting better from this point on.

I'm new to the SR world, but I have Merkur and Gillette DEs in my stock; they both give me great shaves.
