Thread: Are there any "New", Special Edition Razors coming out for the Holiday?

I thought I'd ask you experienced guys here. I thought it only fitting or appropriate for manufacturers to come out with "Special", or "Ltd" edition units for the Holidays. Is there any word on the street on the subject, or any speculation? Has this ever been observed by anyone here in the past? Please chime in........

I wouldn't be surprised if Gillette came out with something most of us wouldn't want.

I understand Tradere is working on a slant model however I don't know when it is coming out.

Every now and again TI comes out with an additional Silverwing LE. I think there have been 3 so far. Not especially tied in to Christmas though.

Good to hear another mfg is contemplating a slant. I'd be real interested in that.

Best thing I've seen recently has been the SRP edition str8 from the honorable Mr. Williams (papabull). This will be my 3rd Williams, and I can't wait. Hand forged, hand made for the price of a premium production razor. 'Doesn't get much better. It may be just my idiosyncracies, but I have no blades that leave a cleaner path than the Williams.

I've got my deposit in....I'll be receiving my first in about February, 2013. Yep, I'm pretty darn excited. It'll be my 3rd custom straight. My first 2 are from Brian Brown. I LOVE THEM!!!!
