No, not quite. It was actually a silver cigarette lighter my mom always had on our coffee table decades ago. I always liked the style and the way it swirled much like my design. Go figure!

Thanks guys.
I turned the bowl on my lathe then carved it. Same for the brush handle. I've been a full time woodcarver/woodworker for the past 25 yrs.
Time? Not sure, this aspect of my work is my 'playtime'. I carve full time, and my hobby is carving. Along with restoring razors of course.
