Thanked: 275Derby blades are (IMHO) dull -- too dull to be comfortable.
Gillette "Super Thin Platinum" (I used one this morning) are better. Astras are way better, sharp and reasonably forgiving. Feathers are very sharp -- but there's a rule with Feathers:
. . . "no pressure" really means "no pressure".
They're not forgiving of mistakes. If you're careful, and have a light touch, they give a very nice shave.
A blade sampler would be a good idea -- the EJ razor is pretty mild, and you'll find something you really like to use.
. Charles. . . . . Mindful shaving, for a better world.
