    Hey all.

I am very new to DE Razor and Straight Razor Shaving. I got started about 3 weeks ago. I was first introduced to a DE when I went on vacation with my Uncle. He has a DE Gilette and uses all Proraso. I started using his Pre/post shave and shaving soap on that vacation with my Mac 3 Turbo razor. When I got home I asked Santa Clause for a DE. He delivered.

Razor: Edwin Jagger DE86 OCt Ebony and Chrome
    Blade: Shark Super Crome
Brush: Edwin Jagger Badger Travel Brush
    Pre Shave: Proraso Sensitive Skin
Soap: Proraso Sensitive Skin Formula ( Also just ordered about 2 minutes ago Mitchell's Wool Fat. Have been reading nothing but good things on hear about it)
    Post Shave Balm: Clarins

Can't wait to read more on this site. Thank you all so much.

    Welcome to SRP!

I, like many others here, love Mitchells Wool Fat soap and I'm sure you will too. In case you run into trouble with it (it can be tricky at times), Mantic has a good video on it:

Good luck and enjoy the ride.
    Storsven likes this.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Thank you Cangooner. This will come in handy for when I get the MWF. I'm sure I would have been siting there in my bathroom cursing out if I couldn't get it to lather.

Awesome. Do you have any local shops that are good for buying shave supplies?
