No not for me; I just checked my sample packs & I don't have any of those blades. I'm gonna order some next time around, just to see how they are.

never have used them myself , i have read a bunch of good reviews , but we know how that is on DE blades ..
i also read that it was rumored that they are/have discontinued production of the blades and a lot og people have been buying them in bulk , but idk ????

I also heard that they are great blades and that they are a bit hard to find, maybe because people are buying them in bulk. Maybe I'll give them a go, since in the world of DE blades there's not much to loose ($)

I've tried them. I find them really sharp. I would say they're on par with Feather, however GSB is smoother than Feather IMO. But they loose their sharpness fast. I can get 2-3 comfortable shaves with 3 pass on each. I read on B&B that they're made in Russia (St. Petersburg I think),

They're discontinued, but West Coast Shaving have them in stock.

I did a comparison shave test of GSB vs. 7 O'Clock Dark Blue. Both blades are made by the same company in Russia. They are very hard to tell apart. There is talk of the 7 O'Clock blade being dropped, but I have no idea if it's true. The GSB is a very good blade and definitely worth a try.
The tale is doon, and God save al the rowte!

Default Gillette Platinum (Blue) and Gillette Stainless (Red)

I wonder if maybe only the name is getting changed, in Sponon's post the Blue's are labeled Gillette Blue Silver? Mine are labeled Gillette Platinum for the Blue packs and Gillette Stainless for the Red packs. There is no date on either the razor packs or the display holders, hard to say who's are newer. I bought half of a display of each Blue and Red last time I went to Macedonia, then I sold half of that to my buddy.
If I get out again I will buy all of the ones I can find...

The back of the two half display holders put together, yes the blades are Russian made in Saint Petersburg.

GSB is good, I am about to get my 3rd shave from a blade. I still think Kai blades are better, smoother and sharper than this, but pricier.
