Default How to ID a DE razor

Hi. I just acquired 2 safety razors from my dad. I don't see anything identifying brand or year but I don't know what I'm looking for. They both say PAT.NOS.ON.PACKAGING in the blade compartment.
You guys seem to know everything about a shaver you inherit or found at an antique store.Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1365286571.081429.jpg

Oh, I also have this one from an op shop. Same deal. No idea what/where/how old etc. This one doesn't have any writing or symbols.Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1365286714.646435.jpg

I believe the top 2 are Super Speeds, one is a flair tip and the other the earlier model. The bottom photo looks like a ball end tech to me. They look like Gillette but maybe a copy ?

I agree with Jimmy. On Gillette Techs and SuperSpeeds, all of the identification is on the bottom of the baseplate.

Notice that on the SS, even though it's clean, the light still has to hit them just right in order to see the markings. Both razors have a letter code in the upper left corner, a number code in the upper right corner, A Gillette logo in the lower left corner, and "Made in USA" in the lower right corner.

In the first pic, the top one is a Gillette Flare-tip Superspeed, and the bottom one is a 40's-style Superspeed. The 40's one may be a bit more aggressive than the other one.

As Jimmy said, the other razor may be a Gillette Tech.

Hi. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I searched & I'm pretty sure they are a 1964 J4 Super Speed Flare Tip, a 1948 Super Speed and a 1940s
    ball end handle Tech.
I used the '64 tonight on the face & head with a wilkinson sword blade & arko shave soap. Very nice. Much heavier than the ball tech.
Gotta get me some feather DE blades now (:{)
