Thanked: 1Which is the best blade for straight shavettes?
Hey gents, I was wondering which blade is the sharpest for using with a shavette, I've used derby, shark, and royal red, the differences were minimal nothing major, I was wondering if there was something better out there. Let me know guys

I'm partial to Feathers or Personna Med Prep.

Thanked: 39I tried Feathers and am now using Wilkinson sword blades.
While the Feathers are extremely sharp, I found them perhaps *too* sharp, if that's not a bizarre criticism to make. Admittedly I haven't shaved with a shavette for very long but I found that it was incredibly easy to cut into skin with them.
I'm now using Wilkinson Sword blades and I'm finding them very good - still very sharp but more forgiving.
