Thanked: 1936That actually sounds out of the norm for most nicks, they normally heal up in just days for me. Why do they heal so quickly? Surgical sharp instrument and very clean environment. Do you exceptionally pale or of darker skin color? Even then, it doesn't sound quite right.
I honestly think you should see a doctor and ask them if there is some sort of infection.Southeastern Oklahoma/Northeastern Texas helper. Please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you and God Bless, Scott

Unless you are shaving over that spot and not giving it time to heal up right, then it could scar as well.

Thanked: 7I agree with the idea of seeing an MD, preferably a dermatologist. Doubt infection at this late stage, but I'm sure he/she will have suggestions about minimizing scarring. If you go, let us know what they say, please, so we can all benefit.
Thanks.

+1 on the above advice.
I do have a few questions, though. Does the area of your face with the scar hurt or feel tender to the touch? Is there any drainage? If so, it is infected. See an MD asap.
If none of the above fit the condition of your scar, you might want to consult with your local pharmacist. There are over-the-counter preparations to heal scars. They may be able to recommend a non-prescription skin preparation that will heal the scar.

My throat area is scarred several times from learning to shave with a shavette. The fresher ones (a few weeks old) are red straight marks. The older ones (a few months old) are slowly losing color. You probably won't be scarred for life but it can take awhile for the repair of the destroyed tissue and lose of color.
Until then, wear a monocle and speak with a german accent.
Happy healing,
