Hi guys
Any thoughts experience with the above.
The kai ones seems to a bit dear than the Feathers, like 10euro dear (more in some cases)
Thanks in advance

I have yet to try the Super Pros, just the ProGuard.
I prefer them to the Kai Mild blades by far.
(The other type I tried is Dorco which I don't care for much)

Oh my, they aren't even in the same league.
The Feather Super Pro's are the sharpest blade out there.
Well, all the Feathers are equally sharp, but the SP's have the longest protrusion of them.
And that makes for a very close shave, but with the risk of nicks and cuts.
The Kai's I have tried are more mellow.
Both will get you shaved though.Bjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

Thanked: 7I have used the Kai Captain Titan Mild blades in my Kai Captain Excelia kamisori razor (currently listed for sale in the classified forum, if anyone is interested) and have found them to be very mild, indeed. The proguard blades give a better shave with less risk of nicks, at least for me..

The Super Pro was my go to blade when I used the Feather. Tried all but the Pro Guard and it out shaved them all imo.

My only experience with these brands is with DE razors. Feather is wickedly sharp but Kai is not far behind. But Kai delivers a much more comfortable shave on my face. The sharpest blade out there may not be the best blade out there. I have never used a shavette but I assume that blade preference is similar to DE in that the choice is personal. Kai also uses a heavier gauge steel for their blades. I'm not sure how much that contributes to their cost or the comfort they provide but its a factor in play. Once you've had a chance to use your Feather blades, I suggest giving Kai a shot. If you're like me, you'll find tehy perform wonderfully and comfortably,.

Thanked: 7How do you know when 1/2 of a DE blade "flexes"? What do you feel? I use a variety of shavettes and I'm not sure I've ever experienced that.....

Once you get a chance to try the Feather "system" (Feather, Kai, CJB etc.) the difference should pop out. For me it was most pronounce ATG at the neck/throat.
And my blade order is Kai PINK, Feather Pro, Feather Pro Guard & Dorco Super - have some Feather Supers but just have not had the need anything sharper...yet.
