There are quite a few who use shavettes exclusively, or primarily and throw a straight or DE shave in to change things up. Nothing wrong with that at all, as long as it works for you and you enjoy it.

The Feather's are a great system, take away all the stropping, honing, and fear of chipping or damaging a nice blade. Some want the experience of shaving with a naked blade, but don't want what comes with using a straight - and that's perfectly cool.
