Figured I would revive this thread a bit. So as of the last couple months I have found myself more an more grabbing my feathers over the straights. Since my ADs have migrated from straights to brushes an accessories I find I really am enjoying feathers More and more. I find I'm so busy between two jobs an a baby that trying to keep up with the straights is difficult. So what started as kind of a joke has turned into reality. I'm going to step away from traditional straights for the most part an just use my feathers an DEs. I plan on keeping my two favorites but think I will off load the rest of the collection an add one more feather in their place.

Yeah bob I've used DEs for several years because they were more convenient. But still gave a great shave.

Your so right Bob, a good DE and the right blade will give any straight a run for the gold, I will not give mine up cause of my 40 year relationship I've had with them , the straight is something I really like to do more than it gives me a better shave , because it hasn't , just as good but not better. It is the ritual ,the nostalgia , and the pampering I now do because of the straight heritage. I also carry a feather RG for my travel blade , and it will give one of the best shaves around. , but it takes a light hand or its harsh. Tc
