Thread: Pretty good shave today

I put a feather blade in my Parker this morning and gave one of the best shaves I've ever had. I see the difference a sharp blade can make. At least half of my problems before can be traced back to the blade.

Finding the blade that works best for you is absolutely key. I also use feather blades in my DE razors and shavettes, and the blade debate over which brand is better is endless because every guy has his preference. Because of the potential for errors, I don't use a feather for as many shaves in a shavette as I do in a DE, precisely because it's the sharpness of the feather that I'm after. As always, your mileage may vary.
