Feather Blade made such a big..
improvement in my shavette. I used a hot towel and some Noxema for a preshave. I used my oldest and smallest boar hair brush; I think a 17 mm knot. I lathered up some Van Der Hagan luxury soap into a face yogurt and applied it. Then in two passes I had one of the closest, most comfortable, relaxing shaves of my life. Since it's Clubman Friday, you know what I finished with.

I have 2 shavettes - a Parker and a Feather SS... no comparison. The feather is as close to a straight as I can imagine.

I am going to order a 50 pack of feathers and be happy. They work so well in my DE also. I am a believer.

Feathers are a "love it or hate it" brand, I for one am of the former opinion.

IMO which doesn't mean much I don't think in a replaceable blade "straight" the feather can be beat. Just my choice but it is the blade I reach for most of the time. Good luck an keep us posted.
