    Default Blew the Dust Off My Shavette

    Today, I grabbed my Monsieur Charles for the first time in about five months. I usually use DE, and a straight when I've got a little extra time like weekends and holidays. I got a fantastic shave!

    I figure my technique ha caught up to the less forgiving blade. I reckon I'll be reaching for it a little more often.

    They are less forgiving for sure. I keep a dreadnought an two feathers in rotation. Always a great shave, and a new edge is a quick blade swap away. Really don't think they get the credit they should. Always enjoy mine.

    Glad to hear you are still getting enjoyment from the Mr. C. My DE has simply replaced my Shavette.
