Thread: Feather SS folding razor

Over the years I have owned a number of Feather DX's, SS's both folding and non-folding. My major complaint with the SS was the feel. The scales are to light and it feels unbalanced. I picked up this SS on Ebay at a very good price with the idea of changing the scales. I had this very nice set of wood scales from another razor and with a little work got the Feather to fit like it was made for the scales. Now the balance and feel are very comfortable. If you have a SS and have the same feelings that it is a very good razor but just doesn't feel right, try replacing the scales.
