Thanked: 171Interesting find, but I wonder whether the magnets could be the weak point.
The magnets appear small, most likely to keep the blade assembly small, but that would also mean a weak magnetic force.
If you don’t mind, let us know how this concepts works out in the long run.

Thanked: 96Based on comments made about the magnets, without going into scientific jargon, the magnets are not your run of the mill magnets, they are extra strong, long lasting magnets. One of the comments was that the magnets would last a life time. I can tell you, they not only hold the blade secure, but really hold the spine together. There is no play what so ever in the blade or the part of the spine that attaches to the body. It is much more stable than my Feathers that work on a spring.
