Scar
Hi everyone, I need some advice. I have a scar right below my lower lip that runs diaganal (SP?). It has always been a really pain in the ...well it's hard to shave there, now more than ever (all the joys of a straight). Does anyone else have a similar problem or some practical advice?

I don't really have any thick (bumpy) scars in my shaving area. My suggestion would be to maintain a light touch on & around it, and probably lower the angle of the razor in that area to prevent the edge from getting caught on it or digging into it.
Hopefully, someone else can provide you nore practical experience.

Stretching the skin tightly may help flaten the scar - depending on the type of scar tissue. If its one of the scars that is raised, this may not make much of a difference or might even make it more of a target.
I would suggest using the tip of the razor to edge around the scar (in addition to the tips mentioned by xChris) if you can't stretch it flat.
Alternately, you could just shave the whole thing off and hope it grow in flatter

If only it were that simple...I'd shave off the scar and that other thing that gets in the way. What's it called again... oh yeah, my nose

lol Thank you X, always helpful. I'm thinking that I'll get good enough at this (and learn not to post at 5 am...maybe), where eventually you only need to proof read for me on occasion.
I know that it's a bit off topic, but i saw on your profile that you are an actor. What type of acting do you do (stage, TV, Big Screen, all of the above)?
