Thread: Great results

I just wanted to let everyone know that I just had my most successful straight razor shave ever. I'm fairly new to the game and usually wear a full beard. My shaves are few and far between but today after maybe a dozen previous shaves, I felt success. The razor was honed by a pro but my stropping technique is getting better now and it shows. After a hot shower I used Pinaud shave cream and my W.R. Case round point. Finally I gave myself a smooth comfortable shave with a Vintage blade made in my home state. Afterwords, some Clubman Vanilla aftershave also by Pinaud. Thanks to all of you for your great tips and advice!

Wait till you get a practice one and you clean and hone it yourself and get a good shave!
