Thanked: 7Nice blade, Tio
Really good close ups of a smooth shave. Great technique, shaving and photography!

He appears to have a very dark beard. I have pretty fair complexion and even after I shave bbs you can still see the hair under my skin. Caused me lots of grief in the army. They would send me back to shave multiple times during the day and I kept telling them "I did, its smooth...."

I also have the Homer Simpson effect after a shave unless I'm really tan and not my usual light skinned self.

During the first half of the video (WTG pass, I suppose), does his angle seem really steep? I don't point this out as a criticism but as a newb working on angles. It just looked to me like he was working with nearly a 90 degree angle, esp. on his cheeks/jawline. Of course, if it works, it works...

Good point...I had noted to myself that he was using one hand for both sides, but I had not noticed that it was his non-dominant side where the angle seemed to get really steep. Nonetheless, I suppose that, while the technique seems to work well for him, that steep of an angle would not be common for most people. Good catch!

Thanked: 3228Thanks to everybody mentioning the steep angle. I noticed it before but wasn't sure I was seeing correctly. Hey whatever works. Very nicely done vid but I did miss a musical background.
