Might be pushing it a bit, just happy to be able to shave with them on my holiday. Will have to leave the barbers shave for another time.

    Hey guys

Just got back from that cruise I asked about. Put 4 straights in an old cell phone case and tucked it in a shoe. Placed it in check in luggage. they came thru with no problem. So I managed to shave for the 14 days with my straights instead of a disposable razor. Don't know if I got lucky or this is the norm out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Thanks for all your answers.

Puts me in mind of a teacher confiscating something in school

Hey guys, off on another trip, got the blades through again no problems. Looks like if they see you use them legitimately they turn a blind eye.
A good lather is half the shave.

Same here! Put them in a cell phone case and in a shoe in my check in. NO PROBLEM. They come straight to the room.

Sorry if I'm missing something but I just have to ask. Why would you take an axe on a cruise?

The Vikings used to do that all the time.

He said it like "yeah, they took my pocket knife but they gave it back at the end. No big deal". It's an AXE! Lol. Was it a Lumberjack cruise? Or did he use it in his juggling act; and if so, why didn't they take his chainsaw and flaming torch?
