Thanked: 8Well I first started shaving with an electric razor in my teens, I hated it the second that thing touched my skin. lol My dad was not around a lot of my life (and when he was you'd wish he wasn't) so he never taught me how to shave. Then got into wet shaving and have always had razor bumps and no matter how many damn carts or how light or hard I pressed it couldn't get everything, still had patches that the cart couldn't shave. I started the end of last year and love it. I'm 32 now and I'm SO glad I didn't start earlier in my life when my dad was around he would probably try to scare me or bump me to make me cut myself (no joke) but my kids seem really interested in it. Every time I start to shave my kids yell to whoever isn't there "Daddy's using his shaver!" then boom! all the sudden 3 kids are staring at me with rapt attention. (Why can't they act like that when I'm telling them to do or stop doing something?) I love to lather up my son' face, watching him squirm and giggle cracks me up he's 5. My wife is supportive and so is my mom and kids of course, other than that I don't care. lol

Thanked: 734I can relate. It would have made my fathers day to know I had to go the hospital for stitches due a cut with a SR. Then he could go on and on saying "See? You don't know s#!t. What you don't know could fill a book! Keep it up there Barber Joe and maybe you'll take the whole head off next time". I can hear it now.
