That was very interesting. I had a full beard myself several times before I started Straight razor shaving. It was much more difficult with a mach3.

It's a beautiful thing. If I go more than a few of days without shaving I have to break out the clippers before the disposable, electric or even DE will do anything. With the straight it's really no different from a normal shave except for rinsing the blade off a little more frequently. Knowing I make the same faces as that guy means I'll never be making a video to show the world.... he's a braver man than I.

That is not a straight razor he is using. It's a knockoff with a DE blade, or a Feather.

I was so sure he was going to slice into his face on each first stroke on the sides of his face. very poor technique, I hope no one new to shaving with a straight uses this as a benchmark

I see BLOOOOOOOODDDD!!!
I think it's a shame that all those badgers are having crazy haircuts, to provide the likes of us with beautiful brushes to apply wonderful lathers to our faces with, and this dude uses his frickin HANDS.
Badgers of the world unite and make a stand, thats what i say...
Interesting clip though. Can a true straight ever meet the sharpness of a feather or like disposable? Just wondering because i never used one!

I don't think that this guy is a real wet shaver. It also looks like he's self-taught with his technique for wielding the straight. With that technique, plus the sharpness of the shavette, small wonder he hacked up his chin like that.
