Yeah that will work. That's what I tell myself. Long term investment, sure to go up. And so far it's the only thing I see that's not a lie. Gawd I'm glad this is figured out.

I had a similar situation but I am open and regretted teller her. But I did and a bit of a tiff was worth the truth. And the next time a hone showed up on Ebay for an absurdly low number I called her and discussed my purchasing the hone. Now I got a razor and a hone. I'm always under the impression that a bit of honesty goes a long way.

Maybe not a lie, but more like cheated her out of a little savings...on the other hand, If you don't cheat, you're only cheating yourself!....justification enough for me to pick a few more up...try that and let me know how it works out!

I love all the responses here! Any one in this hobby with a better half including my self has been in your shoes at one time or another..... If she was anything like my wife she'd probinly find this thread then Id not only be nailed for lying but conspiring to cover it up too!

Just tell her these are investments,in 36 yrs you will recoup and break even.
