For myself, todays shave was the eye-opener. Prep is the key for myself. Coming from DE's, my prep has been rather shoddy, up until today.

50-60 *light* strokes on the leather strop. Soak the stubble with a hot flannel. Lather the face. Rub the lather in. Soak the rubbed in lather into the face with a hot flannel. Apply lather again.

Don't forget to pull the skin... and a smooth shave is likely to follow. Can't wait for tomorrow.
