Moles seem to grow hair on their top. In addition, you have to shave up to the mole & not do surgery. For the mountain top, its delicate, mainly trying to stabilize the mole which is held in place by a flexible/stretchable tether of skin. It helps to have at least 3 hands, but the idea is to stretch the skin w/ 2 fingers (like the thumb and birdie finger) and place the index finger against the side of the mole to help stabilize. If a regular tiny short stroke won't fully mow the timber, you may need to do a few strokes rotating the razor on the axis of the spine - like the coupe de maitre under the schnoz. Mowing up to the mole will just be practicing your approach. If that's intimidating, start by using short, no pressure buffing strokes - where a back & forth stoke is done without lifting the cutting edge from the skin. The backstroke portion also keeps the skin hydrated w/ lather. (Thanks to the honorable Godfather for the backstroke putting lather back in place for another stroke)
+1 on this. It can be done. I have a mole on my left cheek just down and forward of my sideburn. I mow down to it from the top, down past it on one side with the toe of the razor just brushing the mole (slightly rounded toe), coupe de maitre stroke underneath mole and from back of mole to my ear. Then stretching the skin I do a VERY LIGHT stroke with just the toe of the razor to get whiskers off the top. All of this with my LEFT HAND! I'm a righty. This actually shaves around the mole closer than my cartridge ever did! I have cut it a few times on the pass past the mole with the toe but nothing a styptic pencil won't fix. I actually had worse results and bleeding with cartridges. All of this of course is done with a very sharp shave ready razor and a very light stroke. The whiskers just pop off the top of the mole. Did I mention a VERY LIGHT stroke with a shave ready razor? Very important.

Pagan, the link above to removing that "pet" using apple cider vinegar is spot on. Make sure you use Bragg's Organic "With the Mother". My wife is all about organic stuff and knows about that particular type of vinegar very well. I'm guessing the pharma companies hate that stuff because it's really great in all sorts of situations. I've used it myself to remove a mole on my back (after seeing a dermatologist, having him remove it, and seeing it grow back again). Once it came back my wife interceded and permanently removed it using Bragg's as described in the article.

Another mole I had that was bugging me was essentially over my canine tooth on the right side. It was just off any whiskers but close enough that I accidentally sliced into it pretty often. Interestingly, after about 5 times getting sliced with a straight razor it just gave up and never returned. I guess you just never know how a mole will react.

So advice from a somewhat old guy - see your dermatologist, and after he does what he'll do (and if it grows back anyway), use the Braggs as described.
