Default Shaving with a wavy edge

Hi All. I'm restoring a Cadman Bengall at the moment. It has a wavy edge and it'll be honing time soon with the option of trying to keep the existing edge or straighten it.

What's the view on the shave quality or issues if I keep the wave?

I wouldn't keep it like that. It would be too unpredictable and possibly dangerous. Much better to straighten it out.
