    Default Finally Found Butta! (sorta)

I didn't want to jinx myself by announcing too soon. BUT i've now shaved 3 times with the most agreeable edge I've yet to produce. Well, 2.5 actually-as i used it to "clean up" after another blade--one that seemed "bitey"-very sharp, not as smooth. And all this is trim work.

I've been getting "shave sharp" from 8k and stropping. Liked it better than my original results from coticule. NOW i've learned to properly use the coticule (thanks to vids of Glen and Lynn) and I have some .50 CX on a strop too. NOW we're getting somewhere!

But then the German blades didn't come out so nice using same regimen. This Maher & Grosh is awesome now, so much that it let me make some ATG's where i normally won't--it is my new standard for excellence. And also the German blades have shown me that they need a different approach.

    Fun sport!

Well I'm also learning which grinds/sizes I like. At this point in time, I'm preferring wide and thick,

so i might release a few superhollows back into the wild.

That is one thing that is nice with this sport,
if you care for a decent blade properly the catch and release program can work well.
    It is just Whisker Whacking
    Relax and Enjoy!

Release ? What's that ? When I release something there is usually a bad odor that follows.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
