Hated the pearlex ones that came with it so I made some horn scales with brass wedge to match the gold...

I must say I didn't like the look of the pearlex scales on the Bismarch, but I like the black ones I have. Funny I think the scales are really solid compared to my vintage razors scales. You made a good job of the conversion, it does look very nice with the modifications.

When my W&B Anchor comes in the mail this week, I have to send it up to Val to be restored and honed, thinking of sending my Bismarck up for a rescale like yours. Already sent him the pics and he think's it looks great.

I've got the older dovo with the MOP inlay on the center of the scales, feel they are kind of flimsy, so may get it rescaled and store the old ones...decisions, decisions!!
