Thanked: 0Single Pass
Hey guys. I was just wondering how unusual it is to just take one pass and be okay with it. I get pretty decent shaves with just one pass. I have super sensitive skin and it seems to get slightly irritated with just a second pass. I know I'm not doing anything wrong, my skin is just too sensitive for more than one pass. How normal is this?

Do what works for you. One pass isn't what most guys do, but some get along fine with it. Congratulations!

I get a "work acceptable" shave from just one pass and do this on days when I'm rushed. The subsequent passes are really just to satisfy my own want of the "perfect" shave. If one pass does it for you who's to say you need more?

Thanked: 1587Ditto to what the others said - most days I'm happy with a single pass shave. If it works for you, go for it.

A single pass shave with a straight means your doing good. Keep up the good work.

Thanked: 0Thanks, guys. I was just wondering about it because I notice it's rare to stop at just one pass. I wanted to get the hang of multiple passes, but my skin won't tolerate anything more than one pass. It's the same thing when I use a DE. However, it doesn't seem to matter that much. The single pass shaves are plenty close if I get my straight sharp enough (definitely closer than a single pass DE shave).
