Kinda glad too, how else would I get rid of the stockpile of shave soaps and creams I have accumulated.

Just saw your zits post and I bet the oil helps to clog the pores by attracting dirt into them. I have naturally oily skin and had trouble with zits all my life so my aversion to my skin feeling oily. I have had better facial skin since I started straight shaving and finishing with alum block followed with an AS.

I'm glad you tried it Bob. My skin tends to be dry, especially after shaving, but its always been that way. I moisturise a lot so I thought the oil would help. Maybe you could try the 3/4 drops pre shave method and see what you think. When I tried the oil as a pre shave it worked well as the face lathering must have removed some of the oil. I'm also glad really as I do like the brush and soap routine.
