It's the heat of Subtropical summer here. in and above the 30 Degrees C mostly. Constantly perspiring, that seems to dry my face. The winters are beautifully warm with pleasant breezes. 23-25 Degrees C on an average day. My skin is always at it's best in winter, I think the heat has a lot to do with it.

I have in no way written this off, I'm going to try the pre shave route then if I don't like that I will be using the oils shave to rehydrate my skin regularly as you suggest Wade. Let me know how you get on. Different skin types will I'm sure get different results.
