Thanked: 237First BBS
The moment has finally arrived! I purchased my first straight a few weeks ago off Ebay "Shave Ready", yea that was a joke! The bevel was in at least three distinct sections across the blade! After some tips from Lynn I have been experimenting with my honing process, and testing out my coticule after my norton 4/8k. This is the first shave with a straight razor that did not require a touch up with my electric afterwords! I am hooked for good now!

Nice set-up and congrats on the success. For some it takes a while (better part of a year) for others right away. Looks like you're a natural.
What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one

Thanked: 60It will be interesting if you get the same results tomorrow. I did my first BBS then couldn't do another for a couple of weeks, i just kept missing bits, and now these days I choose to DFS rather then BBS after all the chasing…. I do like to do a BBS shave but only when I have time to enjoy the process.
Great set up
