Thread: First straight razor point type

Life is too short to be a round pointer. Yes, I just made that up. My philosophy is: master the spike, then no razor will be your better. You won't ever say "Man, that is a great deal on that NOS (enter name here) razor, too bad it's a spike"!

Round and square point razors are fine to learn on. The spike points require more concentration. If you're just starting out, I would get a razor from the classifieds here instead of eBay. That way you know your razor will be sharp.
