Thread: Mentoring !!

A great thing happened last week at work. A young man heard I shaved with a Straight. He started asking alot of questions. So I took in some razors to show him. After a couple of days he asked me if I would teach him how to shave, so I gave him a razor & soap, and started teaching how to shave @ work, hand on. It is a good feeling to pass wet shaving on to someone, & another great thing is I was getting PAID!!!!

As Pope Razorfeld I (check with Phrank on that) I would like to appoint you Deacon in Charge of Conversions in the Church of the Steel Blade. I'm sure that Phrank would agree with me that your dedication to straight razor shaving is exemplary (plus getting paid at the same time!).

Yea, for the harvest of unsightly 5 o'clock shadows is great, and the laborers few! Don't rest until everyone can name the day, the hour, and the blade width & grind of their first straight shave.

I work at a power plant and there are at least 30 rest rooms with multiple sinks, so i took him to one and we started shaving!! He is hooked. I told him about SRP is his next step for learning!!!

Bless you my shaver, for you have shown that redemption can be cast over even the weakest of us. May your path to the BBS inspire those that seek enlightenment and truth as to the treatment of the public face.
